Shrishti Matriculation Higher Secondary School, the School par excellence in Vellore, was started in June 1997 in Brammapuram by Makhija Foundation as a brainchild of its visionary founder, Mr.Manu Makhija, out of his generosity to share his bounty with the fellow humanity.
Initially the school had classes from LKG to Std VIII and this was extended to Std.X in 1999. In June 2000 it was upgraded to a Higher Secondary School.Secondary School.
Shrishti Vidyashram is a CBSE Senior Secondary School in Vellore located on the sprawling Shrishti Campus, Vellore. Since its inception in June 2002 Shrishti CBSE has become one of the most preferred Schools for high quality education in Vellore District.
The continuous academic and extra-curricular track records achieved by the students each year –stand testimony for the same.The School’s on-going developmental activities is backed by committed management , dedicated teachers and a very active parents council.
Shri Manu Makhija had an ever-growing desire to reach out to the underprivileged. He conceived a free school exclusively for these children and the result is the birth of “Shri Manu Makhija Memorial Shrishti Padasala” the living monument to the late Shri Maju Makhija’s ambitious mission.
The task was completed by his family on 16th August 2008. Education through English medium, books, notebooks, uniform with shoes and noon-meals are provided free of cost. At present 300 children under 16 teaching staff have been provided admission and, in time, the Padasala will be upgraded as a full-fledged primary school with classes upto Std. V for above 400 children. Admission to Padasala is strictly confined to the economically weak students from the thirty villages around Katpadi.
